    An appeal for witnesses, after police shot a man near Invercargill, after he presented a weapon


    He was shot shortly before midday on Saturday - on State Highway One - after he'd fled an alleged family harm incident.

    He is in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

    Police now want to hear from people including the occupants of a black people mover and a black Ford ranger.
