Andrea Hansen's pushing for selection for what would be her fourth Commonwealth Games

The 39-year-old triathlete's racing in the elite women's event at the Tri Taranaki festival this afternoon, the first in a series of races to determine spots for the Games.

It's also her first major race since the birth of her daughter last year.

Hansen, formerly Andrea Hewitt, says she hasn't raced against her north island competitors for a while - but at least she has experience on her side.
