Petrol prices are expected to remain volatile despite international measures to bring them down

31 members of the International Energy Agency, including New Zealand, have decided to release emergency oil supplies.
It's to offset the loss of Russian oil exports which have been sanctioned because of its invasion of Ukraine.
AA Principal Advisor Terry Collins says the unpredictable war is only one of the ways prices could be affected.
He says a lockdown in China's Shanghai could drive demand and price up once it ends.
