Concern the country's collision repairers are under threat, as cost pressures spiral

Demand for parts and repairs have fallen 31 per cent compared to pre-Covid levels.
Motor Trade Association's sector repair manager, Graeme Swan, says the industry has been hit by insurance companies dictating prices, along with the prolonged lockdowns.
He says for small businesses trying to build up cash reserves to sustain themselves, it's very difficult.
Swan says he suspects a lot of businesses are struggling, and already several sites have closed.
