Wage costs are expected to push inflation up even higher

The Consumers Price Index for the year to March is 6.9 percent, slightly lower than what many analysts were predicting.
However, JMI Wealth director, Andrew Kelleher, says we haven't seen the impact of expected wage price inflation yet.
He says that's likely to intensify over the year.
However, Kelleher still expects the Reserve Bank to lift the Official Cash Rate by 50 basis points in May.
He says it highlights the fact inflation's everywhere.
