Almost 24 thousand people due for a booster in Waikato can't get one because they have had Covid-19 in the past three months.
Our boosted rate nationwide sits at just over 71 percent, while the percentage of people with two doses is at 95 percent.
Waikato District Health Board Covid-19 Executive Lead Maree Munro says there are people keen to get the booster.
She says some people have been turning up at vaccination centres even though they've had Omicron.
