The unemployment rate has remained unchanged at 3.2 percent for the March quarter

That's about the lowest it's been since records began in 1986, but higher than expected -- with many economists expecting it to drop to a new low of about three percent.
Meanwhile, wages rose three percent in the year to March.
However, consumer prices rose 6.9 percent during the same period.
