Transport is a key part of an information sharing agreement with California aimed at curbing climate change

The Prime Minister has signed the deal alongside California Governor Gavin Newsom.

She says we've set ourselves a clear goal to make sure 30 percent of our vehicles are electric by 2035.

But she says we need to source them.

She says they've had a long conversation about the kind of partnerships they could form to try and overcome some of our supply issues.

Jacinda Ardern says they also anticipate sharing notes on the cash for clunkers policy announced in the Budget, that's already in operation there.
