It's shaping up to a be a rough four or five days on the weather front

Two separate storms will bring severe weather risks, with the first likely to brush the country over the next 24 hours.

WeatherWatch Head Forecaster Phillip Duncan says the second system will make a direct hit on Wednesday.

He says that's more of a concern, and could bring heavy rain and severe winds everywhere.

Duncan believes it's likely to be one of the biggest storm systems we've seen in a while.
