A gas industry group says the Government needs to be clearer about plans to phase out gas

The Commerce Commission has approved a natural gas price increase - for about 300 thousand users.
It'll mean an average annual increase of 48 dollars for the next four years.
Energy Resources Aotearoa says investors have no assurance of stability.
Chief Executive John Carnegie says he expects demand will last well into the future. He says even the Climate Change Commission thinks natural gas will be used until 2050, when New Zealand is aiming to be net zero emissions.
