Six people are still on the run following a serious assault on the Waikato Expressway in March

Three Tribesmen gang members were arrested in relation to the attack, which left a 31-year-old victim critically injured.

Three men, aged 25, 27 and 32 have been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

It follows search warrants executed across Auckland and Christchurch yesterday, which also saw gang patches, cellphones and two motorcycles seized.

A Police spokesperson says they're still working towards bringing all those responsible to justice.

The victim is still recovering in hospital.
