A Christchurch builder is accused of 300-thousand dollars of tax evasion, over a three year period

Christopher David Win appeared at the Christchurch District court this morning on 40 charges laid by the Inland Revenue.
The 39 year old's accused of evading the assessment or payment of PAYE, GST and income tax from 2017 to 2020.
The charges, under the Tax Administration Act, carry a maximum penalty of five years jail or 50-thousand dollars in fines.
He's been remanded to re-appear next month.
