Captain Sarah Hirini says although her team was gutted not to be in the gold medal match, they regrouped quickly which was key leading into this morning's match.
The men's sevens team also won bronze.
New Zealand's third on the medal tally with 10 gold, five silver and four bronze.
Golfer Daniel Hillier's quest to earn a full DP World Tour card has gathered momentum after finishing tied for 12th at the Hero Open in Scotland.
The 24 year old has cemented his place in the top 20 in the secondary Challenge Tour standings at 19th, with the top 20 at the end of the season earning their full Tour cards.
And Hillier's earned just under 50 thousand dollars for his efforts.
