Lauren Dickason allegedly killed six-year-old Liané and two-year-old twins Maya and Karla on September 16.
The South African family had just arrived in New Zealand, with father Graham, to start a job with the DHB.
Her trial, expected to take several weeks, was initially set for early next year in Timaru.
However, she applied to change venues so the case could be heard in Christchurch - it will now go ahead in July next year.
