Customer feedback has been critical in the Bankers' Association's regional bank trial expansion

The trial started in November 2020, and the new branches are hoping to be open by mid-2023.

The original hubs are in towns of less than two-thousand people, and the new hubs are more than three-thousand and at least 30 minutes from an existing branch.

New Zealand Bankers' Association CEO Roger Beaumont says they wanted to see the feedback before deciding to expand.

He says they've had some really good feedback that they're looking to implement and in the new hubs, as well as the old ones, for a more appealing customer experience.
