An Auckland real estate agent has been jailed for two years for defrauding two businesses out of more than half a million dollars

An Auckland real estate agent has been jailed for two years for defrauding two businesses out of more than half a million dollars

Aaron Carl Drever stole more than 100-thousand-dollars from Auckland Speedway in 2019, and fraudulently obtained nearly 500-thousand-dollars during a property deal with Avondale Bowling Club.

He pleaded guilty to a raft of dishonesty and forgery charges and has had name suppression until today.

The 39-year-old was once one of the country's most successful and high-profile agents, but was struck off in 2016 after notching up a record 12 adverse disciplinary findings, including professional misconduct.
