    England fast bowling great James Anderson is the latest to warn of test cricket's potential demise


    Black Caps paceman Trent Boult has chosen to ditch his central contract to make himself more available for domestic white ball tournaments.

    Anderson says the lure of big money for smaller workloads in privately funded Twenty20 competitions will continue to distract players from the hard graft of test cricket.

    Anderson, who turned 40 on July 30th, will play his 173rd test when England face South Africa at Lord's starting tomorrow night.
