    Kiwi veteran Steven Alker is tied for sixth after two rounds of three in the PGA Champions Tour event in Hawaii


    Alker has shot a second round six-under 66 to move to eight-under overall, four back from leaders Ernie Els and Alex Cejka .

    American Charley Hoffman and the Phillipines' Rico Hoey are the co-leaders at the latest PGA Tour event in La Quinta , California.

    They're 16-under through two rounds, both shooting nine-under 63s to move to the top of the leaderboard - one shot clear.
