A student's been suspended from Christchurch's Haeata Community Campus - after allegedly attacking teachers with a pair of scissors

Principal Peggy Burrows says a full investigation's been launched into Wednesday's incident.

She says the two teachers are at home recovering on paid leave - until they feel able to return.

The school board is set to decide the student's future in a meeting next week.

    Police are also making inquiries.
