Travis Kelce is "terrified" of his dad's response to Taylor Swift's new song Wood

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end's fiancee's latest album The Life of a Showgirl features a raunchy musical tribute to his manhood and he admitted he's not quite ready for Ed Kelce to hear it

Discussing the album on their New Heights podcast, Jason Kelce asked his brother if he has spoken to their dad about the record.

When Travis said no, his sibling said: "I haven't talked to him about the album either. Maybe that's who we should get a live listen to."

    Travis replied: "Dude, I'm terrified."

Jason continued to laugh about the idea of Ed listening to a song which includes such as "His love was the key that opened my thighs" and jokingly vowed to record his dad's reaction to the track "regardless" of if they then share it on the podcast.

Jason laughed: "Oh my God, I would love that. I'm gonna do it,."

Jason also quizzed his sibling about his feelings about the song.

He asked: "Do you feel, do you feel - not confident - do you feel cocky about the song 'Wood'?,"

Travis replied: "I love that girl, so what do you mean? Any song that she would reference me in that way...

His brother interrupted: "It's not just you. It's an appendage. It's a very specific thing."

Travis joked: "What? I think you're not understanding the song."

Meanwhile, Jason's wife Kylie Kelce has praised Wood but admitted she didn't "need that much detail" about her brother-in-law.

She said on her Not Gonna Lie podcast: "My favourites on the album are definitely Wi$h Li$t, Opalite, and, who are we kidding, Wood.

"Here's the deal, do I need that much detail about, specifically about my brother-in-law? Probably not. But also good job, Trav! That's it! Guys, yes, 1000%, yes. That's women supporting women."

Taylor recently admitted her mom, Andrea Swift, hadn't picked up the double meaning in some of Wood's risque lyrics.

She said on SiriusXM's The Morning Mash Up: "I think that she thinks that that song is about superstitions, popular superstitions, which, which it absolutely is.

"That's the joy of the double entendre. That song, you could read that song for people and it just goes right over their head. That song you, you see in that song what you wanna see in that song."
