Niecy Nash-Betts has revealed the All's Fair cast have a NSFW group chat without Ryan Murphy

The 55-year-old actress appears in Hulu's new legal drama alongside the likes of Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Glenn Close, Sarah Paulson and Teyana Taylor, and she admitted the group became incredibly close during filming.

She told The Hollywood Reporter: "We love our group chats. And we actually have two. We have one with Ryan Murphy and another one without Ryan Murphy.

"When we want to talk about everything cerebral and all of the things we're feeling and celebrating from the heart, we post in the one with Ryan Murphy.

"But when we get down to the nitty gritty stuff from the neck down - if you know what I mean - that's the group chat that he's not in."

Niecy admitted the bond between the castmates formed very quickly, while the show's creator Ryan helped strengthen their friendship.

She added: "We're friends in real life and it happened very fast. When you multiply Ryan Murphy times martinis, it equals friendships.

"Loose lips after a couple of martinis means we all know each other's secrets."

All's Fair - which is written and ex ecutive produced by Ryan, who also directs - sees a team of female divorce attorneys quit their male-dominated company to open their own practice.

The series became Hulu's most watched scripted debut in three years, but was panned by critics with a Rotten Tomatoes rating of just three percent.

Glenn Close recently threw her support behind the show as a whole body of work, and encouraged people to give it a chance.

She told The Guardian newspaper: "I swear to God, I've seen all nine episodes and it's pretty f***ing good. It is what it is: it's juicy and outrageous at times and touching."

Disney+ has ordered a second season of the programme, ahead of a two-episode series finale will air on December 9th internationally on the streaming service.
