Milan is planning to halt the sale of pizza and gelato after hours, to reduce noisy groups of visitors late at night

    27 April 2024
The ban would impact outdoor dining areas, starting at 12.30am on weekdays and 1.30am on weekends between May and November.

Local businesses have until the start of May to provide input on the proposal.

A similar law was proposed in 2013, but was strongly opposed by locals and abandoned.
