    The Reserve Bank Deputy Governor's issuing a veiled warning about global inflation

    Its twice yearly Financial Stability report says New Zealand's overall financial system remains strong.

    But Christian Hawkesby says stronger-than-expected inflation across the world may prompt other Central Banks to act.

    He says a risk remains new or persistent inflation pressures could keep global interest rates higher for longer.
