Gisborne, Hawke's Bay and Wairarapa
Fine at first. Showers spreading north tomorrow afternoon and evening.
Waitomo to Wellington, including Taumarunui and Taihape
Showers in Taranaki, becoming more frequent and spreading elsewhere tomorrow morning. Some of the showers may be heavy about North Taranaki and Waitomo.
Nelson and Marlborough
Mainly fine tonight. Isolated showers developing tomorrow.
Buller and Westland
Mostly cloudy with a few showers, clearing to become fine tomorrow afternoon.
Canterbury and Otago
Areas of low cloud or fog. Showers spreading north tomorrow.
Southland and Fiordland
