A cold front moves over the South Island from the southwest on Monday, then weakens over the North Island early Tuesday, followed by another ridge. A weak cold front moves northeast over the South Island later Wednesday. Forecast issued at 2242hrs Saturday 04-May-2024 Valid to 1 am Sunday for Inshore waters from Waitarere to Pukerua Bay and out to Kapiti Island. Sunday: Variable 5 knots. Northerly 10 knots developing this afternoon, rising to northwest 15 knots this evening. Sea slight. Fine, then fair visibility in a few showers from this evening.
