    A potential gunman loose in Oamaru has been apprehended without incident


    Senior Sergeant Jason McCoy says Police and the Armed Offenders Squad went to an Oamaru address at around 11am, after a man was seen with what was believed to be a firearm.

    He says the man was arrested, and is currently speaking with Police.
