Grey and Westland Mostly cloudy morning and evening, with the odd shower south of the Glaciers, but long fine spells this afternoon.
Marlborough and Canterbury Low cloud and patchy drizzle about the Kaikoura Coast and Canterbury Plains clearing this morning, otherwise fine.
Otago and Southland Areas of cloud, with isolated showers near the coast, clearing this morning and becoming fine.
Fiordland Often cloudy. A few showers clearing this morning, then rain developing in the evening.
