Praise for contractors working to repair West Coast roads, following a week of wild weather

MP Maureen Pugh says contractors are on the job today, fixing several roads in the district - including State Highway 73.

She says getting the road open means the area should be fully operational by midday Monday.

Pugh says work to restore the Arthur's Pass route is well in hand and farm milk collection for the Westland Milk Products plant at Hokitika has also continued, despite the rough weather.
