    Police have formally identified the eight people killed in Sunday's major crash near Taupo

    Police have formally identified the eight people killed in Sunday's major crash near Taupo


    They include five children, ranging in age from seven to 13.

    They also include their parents -- 35-year-old Margaret Luke and 42-year-old David Poutawa of Tokoroa, and 51-year-old Scouts manager Jenny Rodgers, of Lower Hutt.

    Police are continuing to investigate the crash, on Ohakuri Road in Atiamuri.
