Police have launched a homicide investigation after a man was found dead at a residential address in Tokoroa

Police say emergency services were called to Moa Place, just before 2 yesterday afternoon.

On arrival, a 34-year-old local man, was discovered dead.

Police are speaking to one person in relation to the investigation, with a scene examination continuing at the property today.

They're also speaking to witnesses, and urging anyone who may have information to contact them.
