    Police have arrested two women with gang connections after a kidnapping in Invercargill


    The 25 and 34-year-old have been charged with possessing meth for supply .... as investigations continue into an aggravated burglary and kidnapping on November 19.

    Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Greg Baird says five more searches have been carried out in the past three weeks.

    The 34-year-old woman has also been charged in relation to an aggravated robbery on December 6.

    Police say more arrests are possible.
