When it comes to the trashiest names ever... Lower Hutt doesn't disappoint

When it comes to the trashiest names ever... Lower Hutt doesn't disappoint

To promote recycling in the community, Hutt City Council's asked the public to name its new fleet of seven electric recycling trucks.

The winning names are Bin Diesel, Truck Norris, Recyclosaurus Rex, Bruce Springclean, Trash Gordon, Chitty Chitty Bin Bin, and of course... Trucky McTruckface.

Council chief executive Jo Miller says they're very happy with the results.

She hopes it gets people talking about recycling, because it's individual actions that count.
