The eyes are on the sky as a heavy rain continues to saturate Westport

Locals had hoped to be out for another clean-up today, and building inspectors are due to survey red-stickered homes in the outer township.
Met Service meteorologist Dan Corrigan says thunderstorms dropped about 30 millimetres on West Coast ranges overnight.
He says there's more to come with showers still rolling in and a mostly wet day ahead.
