A solider accused of espionage has had his interim name suppression extended at a pre-trial hearing today

He's facing 17 charges including espionage and possessing an objectionable publication.
He appeared via AVL at the Linton Military Camp near Palmerston North.
New Zealand Herald reporter Katie Harris says the name suppression has been extended until another pre-trial hearing.
She says suppression's also been granted for some of the crown witnesses.
The man's trial that was set to be held next month has also been delayed.
