It appears Covid-19 has returned to Northland

It appears Covid-19 has returned to Northland

A post on the Ngati Hine Health Trust Facebook page says the Northland District Health Board confirmed two cases in the mid-North this morning, and a third possible case at Parua Bay in Whangarei.

The Trust is urging people between Kaikohe and Kaitaia to get tested.

A post on the Parua Bay Tavern Facebook page confirms an employee's family member has tested positive.

It's not been confirmed whether the family member is based in Northland.

The Ministry of Health and Chris Hipkins have been approached for comment.
