People are being urged to get tested as wastewater samples continue to come back positive

People are being urged to get tested as wastewater samples continue to come back positive

There are 113 cases of Covid-19 in the community today, 109 in Auckland, three in Waikato and one in Northland.

There continue to be positive detections across Auckland -- the Health Ministry says that is to be expected.

That includes Waiheke Island on November 2 from the main township of Oneroa ... and also in Waiuku in the wider Auckland region on the south end of the Manukau Harbour.

It follows unexpected detections in Taranaki, Gisborne and Hawke's Bay between November 1 and 3.

The Ministry recommends residents in these areas get tested ... even if they have mild symptoms.
