    The Armed Offenders Squad has been deployed to help with an arrest in Masterton

    The Armed Offenders Squad has been deployed to help with an arrest in Masterton


    The arrest follows an assault at a residential property in High Street just after 8 this morning.

    The victim suffered moderate injuries and the offender was taken into custody without incident just before 1 this afternoon.

    Police say the use of the Armed Offenders Squad was a precaution.
