Swoop Aero has teamed up with Te Whatu Ora to launch New Zealand's first drone logistics network, which will help deliver clinical supplies between Greymouth and Westport.
It'll aid the Buller community, who is still recovering from the extreme weather events that resulted in road closures between the two towns.
Te Whatu Ora West Coast General Manager, Philip Wheble says having access to this technology will help healthcare services continue to provide the essential care needed without disruption.
