    The Easter bunny hasn't left nice weather in his wake


    Northland is already getting hit with heavy rain, which is expected to spread south east this afternoon and evening.

    Metereologist Karl Lootz, says heavy rain and thunder storms can be expected for much of the north tonight.

    He says there are other danger zones too.

    MetService has issued Heavy orange rain warnings for Mount Taranaki from 4pm, and the Tasman District northwest of Motueka from 5pm.
