Police continue to appeal for information on the death of gang leader, Steven Taiatini

Police continue to appeal for information on the death of gang leader, Steven Taiatini

A 49-year-old man's appearing in Whakatane District Court today - charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Detective Inspector Lew Warner says Police are still asking for information -- no matter how insignificant it seems to people.

That includes any witnesses to events in Opotiki's Saint John Street on June 9, and anyone with footage.

People can call 105 , go to the Police website or contact Crimestoppers.
