A teenage killer's walking free after his murder conviction was quashed and he admitted manslaughter

Open Justice reports Haami Hanara, who was only 14 when he knifed a homeless man to death in Flaxmere, Hastings is now a free man.
He was one of a group of youths who attacked Kelly Donner in March, 2018.
Hanara knifed the 40-year-old four times before he fell to the ground and was stomped and kicked by the group.
He was sentenced to life imprisonment for murder but the conviction was later quashed.
Hanara admitted manslaughter and was sentenced to two years and 7.5 months in prison.
He's entitled to immediate release on the time already served.
