    A homicide investigation's underway -- after a fatal shooting in Palmerston North


    Police were called to a Croydon Road address just before 2.30pm yesterday -- after a report of a gun being fired.

    One person was found with critical injuries and died at the scene soon after.

    Cordons will remain in place for a scene examination to be carried out.
