    Another sign of the potential of young New Zealand freeskier Ruby Andrews


    The 18-year-old from Queenstown has claimed the second podium of her World Cup career - finishing third as part of a strong field at the season-opening event in Austria.

    Andrews scooped the medal alongside reigning slopestyle world champion Mathilde Gremaud of Switzerland and big air world champ Tess Ledeux of France.

    Strong winds and a deteriorating forecast meant finals runs had to be abandoned - with the eventual result taken from the athletes' qualifying runs.
