Winston Peters is rallying against New Zealand's high level of immigration

Winston Peters is rallying against New Zealand's high level of immigration

In his state of the nation speech in Palmerston North this afternoon, the New Zealand First leader was back in familiar territory, after spending the majority of the first 100-days in Government in Ministerial mode.

But campaign Peters was well-and-truly front and centre addressing party faithful today... hitting familiar party lines.

He says there's an uncontrollable level of migrants, entering New Zealand -- more than 133-thousand in 2023 alone.
