Wellington's Airport Express bus line has broken patronage records, for a second year in a row

The service runs from the railway station to the airport, every 10 to 20 minutes.

Thirty-six-thousand people are projected to use the bus each month over April and May, surpassing the 2023 goal in just ten months.

Wellington Airport Head of Transport Cameron Jackson says it's been a success story.

He says it's shown people don't all want to use cars, and are loving the bus option.
