The fight at a 21st party involved about 100 people - and three people needed hospital care for stab wounds.
A 29-year-old man faces charges of wounding with intent.
The MP says it's a lovely day in the city - with cruise ships in the bay and people going about their business.
She says the many police in the city have things well under control - and the incident won't create massive concerns for local safety.
