Central Districts veteran batsman Greg Hay will retire at the conclusion of his side's Plunket Shield final round match against Otago at McLean Park in Napier

Hay, who is one of only two CD players to have scored 7000 first class runs for their team, retires at 39-years-old after debuting in the 2006/07 summer.
Hay will end with a first-class batting average in the 40s, after 106 first-class matches - primarily in the top order.
Of those, 104 have been for Central, alongside two New Zealand A caps on the 2008 tour of India.
He's currently not out 178 with CD 483 for seven - leading by 174.
ND is 266 for five in Hamilton in their virtual title decider against Wellington, trailing by 57.
Auckland is 209 ahead on the second innings against Canterbury at Eden Park outer oval - at 235 for six.
