Police are scolding South Island drivers after a spate of dangerous behaviour - including one person driving on the wrong side of the road

Police say they're disappointed by the number of infringement notices - including a concerning number driving more than 20-kilometres over the limit near Cromwell, Omarama, Twizel, and Queenstown.

District Road Manager Inspector, Craig Brown, says it's incredibly frustrating to catch so many drivers risking lives - in wintry conditions.
