The mother of missing Kapiti woman Breanna Muriwai suggests she's received sad news, amid the investigation into her daughter's disappearance at Te Horo Beach in 2022

The mother of missing Kapiti woman Breanna Muriwai suggests she's received sad news, amid the investigation into her daughter's disappearance at Te Horo Beach in 2022

Jasmin Gray says it isn't the outcome her family had been hoping for, but they're still holding on to hope of closure and justice.

Muriwai was 22 when she was picked up before her disappearance in August, by a male friend from Wellington, and travelled to Palmerston North for a time.

Police have previously interviewed two men she spent time with.
