A Hawke's Bay man's been jailed for 15 years and eight months, for kidnapping and raping a fifteen year old girl, after ram-raiding a sports arena

Open Justice reports long-time criminal Earl Campbell's been sentenced at the High Court at Napier.

His father has been sentenced for being an accessory - receiving 13 months in prison.

Campbell carried out an early-morning ram-raid with the girl in the van - to steal an ATM from Napier's Pettigrew Green Arena.

But she says he then put her through "two days of hell" keeping her in a motel room, and sexually violating her.
